Fluorite:

The stone of protection and stability

As the subheading suggests, Fluorite is a protective and stabilizing stone. It enhances self-confidence and helps bring structure into life. This is why the stone is also great to wear while studying. It increases insight and facilitates faster information processing.

Additionally, it protects against and cleanses electromagnetic radiation from sources like computers and mobile phones. The stone also has a positive effect on stiffness, joint problems, and rheumatism. It is good for the bones and teeth, and it alleviates pain from shingles and other nerve pains. Moreover, it has a beneficial effect on the skin (such as acne and wrinkles).

Fluorite can come in various colors: dark yellow, green, blue, violet, or black. The stone is transparent with a glassy shine.

Under ultraviolet light, the stone fluoresces, which is how this crystal got its name.

Cleaning and care:
Fluorite can fade when exposed to sunlight, and it’s best not to expose this stone to water too much. Also, avoid contact with chemical products such as hairspray or certain shampoos.

To rid the stone of its absorbed energy (neutralizing the information it has taken in), it’s best to place it in moonlight during the waning moon overnight. For a deep yet simple energetic cleanse, you can also place the stone on a piece of Amethyst, or even better, inside a large Amethyst geode. The finely divided iron atoms and the energy concentration of quartz give Amethyst a powerful, fiery glow. This helps neutralize the energy in the stones it’s charged with, deeply cleansing them from absorbed information. After about two hours, the stone is sufficiently cleansed. For a very deep cleanse, you can leave the stone on the Amethyst for a week or longer. The stone will not be damaged by this.

Afterward, the stone can be further charged with Clear Quartz.

Charging:
Charging can be done by placing the Fluorite in daylight (not in direct sunlight) on a dish with Clear Quartz tumbled stones or on a Clear Quartz cluster. Clear Quartz amplifies the energy of a stone.
